Dear supporters of Faith Bible Camp,
In the spring of 2025, Andrew Zimmermann was appointed as the interim General Manager of Faith Bible Camp and agreed to be in this role until October 1, 2025. Many thanks to Andrew for serving in this capacity.
After much consideration, prayer, and consultations, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce the following appointments, all becoming effective as of October 1, 2025:
Josh Klassen is appointed General Manager of FBC, joining the Executive Committee - working in partnership with Kent Rygiel, General Director, and Ryan Evans, Chair, Executive Committee.
Josh Klassen is employed on a full-time basis by FBC, combining his duties as the On-Site Manager and his new assignment as General Manager.
Some adjustments will be made to specific roles of the General Manager and General Director including clarity on jointly held duties.
As the ministry of FBC grows, the role of our seriously committed and thriving volunteers continues to be an important distinctive as we serve our Lord together. We believe that having our two key operational leaders as full-time employees (Kent and Josh) will only help in providing strong leadership and communications with our campers, volunteers, and supporters.
This approach will lead to slightly higher operating costs. If you are interested in the future ministry of FBC, please considered increased donations as our Lord leads you.
Please pray for Josh and his family as he assumes these duties and for the Executive Committee as they work together planning for next season and the future of FBC.
