FBC Update
December 15, 2022
Dear Friends of Faith Bible Camp,
Members of our Board and our Executive Committee have been active in preparing for a number of leadership changes. We are happy to announce today many of those changes with grateful hearts and thanks to our Lord for bringing these changes together.
Ryan Evans has been appointed Chair of the Executive Committee (EC), replacing Warren Bartley, who took this role on a few years ago on a temporary basis, for which we have been very thankful.
Warren Bartley has been appointed EC Leadership transition as a new and temporary position from January 1 to April 30, 2023, to serve within the Executive Committee.
Josh and Leah Klassen have been appointed by the Executive Committee as our Onsite Manager staff positions effective January 15, 2023 – Josh and Leah will carry their duties throughout the year and will reside on site during the summer seasons.
Leadership in various oversite areas and particular functions have been assumed by the following individuals appointed by the Executive Committee:
Water Systems Oversite – Dave Jonker
Electrical/HVAC Systems Oversite – Mike Krystik
Grounds Oversite – Josh Klassen/Chris Park
Electronics – Audio/Video, Internet – Jeff Williams
Recruitment of Managers and Cooks – Kent Rygiel
We are blessed to have each of these individuals take on meaningful roles and responsibilities with great interest and vision for the ministry of Faith Bible Camp as we see Ron and Nancy Guille finish their responsibilities on December 31, 2022. Based on these roles being filled, the Executive Committee is planning a full camp season in 2023.
Please pray as we continue discussions with people regarding outstanding roles, including the General Manager/Executive Committee position, building oversite, food services, etc.
