Leadership Training Program

Ages 15 and up

July 5-13, 2024

$235

The FBC Leadership Training Program (LTP) is a discipleship program for Christians 15 years and older who are interested in becoming a staff person at FBC or simply looking to develop as a leader in an immersive, hands-on setting. The 8-day Leadership Training Program provides spiritual formation, camp-skills acquisition, and experience working with children as the latter portion of the program is run in conjunction with our Kids Summer Camp 1 session. Participants will have a challenging and fun time learning about all aspects of camp life in a team setting, primarily focusing on cabin leadership. Each LTP team member will participate in extensive group training sessions and be personally mentored by our Leadership Training Program directors and other Senior Staff. This program is an excellent opportunity for young people to learn about themselves, have fun serving God, and be a part of a great summer camp ministry.

Please note that our LTP Directors will review all applications and references submitted. Only a maximum of 12 participants will be selected each summer based on the best fit for the group and our ministry. As such, the date applications are received is not a determining factor. All applications and references must be submitted by April 15, and applicants will be contacted by May 15 regarding whether they are accepted for this summer's session.

“Looking back, the Leadership Training Program was a very memorable time that helped me grow in my faith and strengthened my relationship with friends. It was full of laughs and great memories and helped me grow as a leader, preparing me for what I would face as a counsellor. I learned how to better share my faith with campers and relate to them so they would know they were loved. Overall, the Leadership Training Program was a great experience!”
