Summer Camp 2022

Dear friends,

As the snow accumulates this winter, it is not easy to imagine summer and what we hope is an entire overnight camp season at FBC. Yesterday it was announced that there are no capacity limits for camps and that overnight camps are allowed. This announcement is terrific news, and we ask that you join us in rejoicing in the Lord and praying that this will not change this summer! Along with our overnight camp sessions, we will also have a week of Kids Summer Day Camp from July 11-15. This session is an excellent option for kids ages 8-12 who prefer to experience all that FBC offers but sleep at home each day. It is an opportunity to enjoy camp before committing to a whole week away. We are excited that registration is now live for both campers and summer staff at faithbiblecamp.org!

Please pray for many children, youth, and adults to register to attend this summer. Many of our previous campers haven’t been on our campsite since 2019, and it would be a blessing to have full sessions throughout this summer. Pray also for new campers to join us to experience God’s creation, a loving Christian community, fun activities and memories, and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Please also pray that the individuals we have invited to serve in various Sr. Staff positions will respond positively and that we will fill our Head Cook, Manager, Director, and Speaker roles.

God has been faithful since 1954 and has always gone before us in this significant ministry. We are thankful for our many supporters who uphold our ministry in prayer, volunteer, encourage people to attend, and give financially as the Lord leads. Our camper registration fees only cover approximately one-third of our operating expenses, and we rely on member churches and individual donations to cover the rest. Please prayerfully consider how you can support Faith Bible Camp in 2022. We seek to glorify God by providing a Biblical, relational, and affordable camping program for children, youth, and adults so they may come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. If you haven’t had an opportunity yet, we encourage you to view our ‘Celebrating the Summer’ – Virtual Event, highlighting our day camp ministry last August. You can access this video on our website’s home page.

Finally, please mark your calendars for our two planned Work Bees on Saturday, May 28 and Saturday, June 18, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please invite your family and friends and RSVP. There is work for all ages and lunch will be provided. Even if you can’t make it for the entire day, any help will be much appreciated as we get our beautiful campsite prepared for this summer’s camp ministry.

Thank you for your faithful and continued support of Faith Bible Camp. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Chair Warren Bartley, General Manager Ron Guille, or me.

On behalf of the FBC Executive Committee,
